I've been to the pepper mill several times now and mostly satisfied. Lunch is also a great offer, which I like to take during my lunch break. Unfortunately, I noticed differences in the quality of the food, so that in most cases it tasted good, but there were also days when my food was far too salty or too lumpy. I would definitely keep my hands off the pepper sauce ... inedible! Had a strange peaty aftertaste and when asked I was told that it should taste like that. I can hardly imagine that! Otherwise, the service is really excellent.

Stay away from the pepper cream schnitzel. The sauce tastes musty and should urgently be recreated and seasoned by the chefs. The soup and the cake are edible and appropriate for the low price. The ambience is quite nice, bright and cozy and the service courteous and friendly.

The restaurant has a nice beer garden, but the rest of the outside area looks like a junkyard. The cream sauce of the mushroom schnitzel is unfortunately a ready-made product, the fries were cold. The request for a parasol was skilfully ignored. Despite the extremely long waiting time, we were not offered a second drink. Sorry, but there are really better addresses in the south of Dortmund.

The staff is super friendly and courteous, where cleanliness comes first, where so many restaurants should take something! The food is plentiful and super tasty and fresh. The coffee and cappuccino etc. tastes very good, no bitter aftertaste etc. Here you will not find any mistakes or anything bad. Keep up the good work, we will come again and again and always and everywhere recommend.

House steak with chips was great, but the fish "Forelle" needed to be done again. Nice taste, but a little bit expensive. Quality 2 of 3 great.
